Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by the current Watchman Command application. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
Draft for launch preparation. This page requires review by a qualified attorney before production launch.
Authentication and security cookies
Auth.js uses cookies and signed session tokens to maintain sign-in state, complete authentication flows, and protect account-specific routes. These technologies are necessary for authenticated service behavior. Cookie names and duration may vary by environment and security settings.
Go-Bag Builder local storage
The Go-Bag Builder stores checklist selections and generic custom item labels under a browser-local key. This is local storage, not an authentication cookie, and the tool does not send that checklist to the application database.
Welcome-video preferences
The authenticated dashboard stores whether the welcome video was minimized or dismissed in local storage so the preference can be remembered in that browser.
Analytics, advertising, and marketing
The current repository does not include analytics, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking, marketing cookies, or a cookie-consent platform. If nonessential technologies are added, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.
Browser controls and contact
Browser settings can delete or block cookies and local storage, but blocking necessary authentication cookies may prevent sign-in from working. support@avigilantlife.com
