Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Vigilant Watchman is working toward accessible use of its website and Watchman Command for people with varied abilities, devices, and assistive technologies. This statement does not claim formal certification or complete WCAG conformance.
Draft for launch preparation. This page requires review by a qualified attorney before production launch.
Current approach
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and link text
- Keyboard-visible focus states and keyboard navigation
- Screen-reader-oriented names and status messages
- Brand color contrast reviewed during implementation
- Responsive layouts and printable educational resources
Known limitations
Browser print-preview behavior, video playback and captions, complex chart interpretation, and behavior across every screen-reader/browser combination need additional manual review. Firefox, WebKit, and Safari are not yet part of the automated browser suite.
Ongoing testing
Accessibility is reviewed through automated tests, keyboard and responsive checks, semantic markup review, and planned manual assistive-technology testing. Issues will be prioritized alongside safety and privacy defects.
